We survived our first week of teaching!
I got today off and I'm about to head up the glacier to do some serious skiing. Tom is up there with his group and Col is staying home on his day off (the poor thing does enough skiing during the week...)
Tonight is prize giving for my kiddies...they get medals and certificates for the race we did yesterday. They actually all did really well! I was proud of how much they improved since I got them on Sunday. And my Spritelets made me a card with a big crayon flower on the front and paint handprints inside. Was quite cute.
I'm off to hit the slopes - it's a gorgeous cold sunny day.

Glad to see there is some snow in Austria. We were waist deep in Japan.
Looks like you are having a lot of fun.

Waist deep as in your waist or Daddy's waist? Them's fighting words, Jacko!
Me wanna picture of Tom as a Blue Smurf. Will pay good $.

Dear Panda,
Glad to hear they have invited you back for a second week. Does this mean that no Spritelets were lost last week? And what is the A-team? A for Aussie, A for Average or A for Avalanche. Mum chimes in to note that 39 skiers have been lost to avalanches in the Alps so far this season. Any chance you can stick to the glacier?
Love DAD

P.S. Whatever price is being offered for Smurf photos, we'll double it!
