moving!

Hello again

Moving apartments tomorrow...our new one is pretty cool but a bit impractical. It's halfway up the mountain, so we can ski in/ski out, but we have to be home by 4:30 every day to make the chairlift otherwise we have to walk up which isn't so fun. Day off today but sadly no skiing for me since I'm busy organising all the little things to be able to move tomorrow! Tom is at the ski service shop for a whopper 8 hour shift.

My afternoon private lesson yesterday went really well - the guy booked me to teach his wife next week :) Also survived week 2 of Esprit kids...had one with a bad fall who wanted his mummy and another who peed her pants. All in a day's work. Apparently I have French kids for private in the coming week instead of Esprit...dum dum dum!

And for those who were wondering: yes, Tom is alive, he's just too lazy to post on the blog since he figures I'll write about anything important. He's teaching on weekdays and tuning skis on weekends.

That's all for now I think - cya

Oh there I was getting hopeful you'd finally wrestled Tom for the TV remote and won but in the process had killed him :P

Hey!!!
Sounds like everything is going well!
Although I can't ski, i am extremely jealous that you get to ski all day! (I am discovering that thinking about "Journeys" is absoluely hell! God damn HSC!!)
Hope the new apartment is good.
Talk later!

Hey gorgeous things...great to catch up on the phone.
1. Grandma's address is 33 Seaview St Balgowlah.
As your are in the #(*&*$# for the share trading stuff..you cld say:
"Please pass on my regards to the fellow who sorts the share trading for the family and I will catch up with him when I get back. Dad and I are organising a share trading account through CommSec. Will keep you posted. Check out our Blog Site with Uncle Mark some time and see photos and stories about what we are up to. And talk a lot about the skiing. Get a really big postcard and write a lot. You cld also say that you are heading over to Litzen to shovel snow for Poppies mate.
She just wants to hear from you and show the postcard to all her mates and phoning you is probably a bit challenging.
2. Poppies checked out your blog and loves it. I am not sure if he has worked out yet how to put up a post.
3. Re recipes, glad you got the last lot. If Colin is vegetarian tip cheese sauce all over your veges in the bake and add pasta.
You can do my stuffed potato recipe but without the bacon.
Lentil pasta:
Boil green/brown 300ish tin of drained Puy lentils in Maissel Beef Stock Cube stock (check the label it is vege, or use vegemite equivalent over there) and a bay leaf or two. (If you can find them as dried lentils they are cheaper, boil them for longer, until tender.)
Using butter as the base (don't let it turn brown, keep the heat low), gently fry onions and a little garlic with a teaspoon each of ground coriander cumin and two fresh chopped tomatoes.
Drain the lentils and stir into the tomato mix.
Stir in half a small tub of yoghurt. Toss thru hot spagehetti.
Serve with fresh coriander (it may be called Cilantro over there... if you can get it.)
It looks weird but even Dad eats it and reckons it tastes great.
Unlike Dhal, which none of you like but I love. Ah well. Let me know if you want the Asian vege spread, it often involves shrimp paste tho, or fish sauce, so it will depend on how vege you want to go...
4. Anyways, it was great to hear your voice, I will put out the hat for $100 per parent for the blue smurf piccie but it will have to have blue face paint and the smurf hat and involve sychophantic esprit kiddies or equivalents.

Much love to Amanda and I am collecting ducks back here for you.

Hey Little, if you are around, I am seeing Peter Garrett on Tuesday if you have any special requests.
Watcha want...world peace or thin thighs?
