mmm weather

Gorgeous and sunny today with great snow after the last few days of storms. Woo!

Last day of these kids tomorrow...thank god...
The race this morning was so much trouble, esp. since the week was bumped because of Sunday's awful weather, so they had to slalom after 3 days on skis instead of 4 and a half. Interesting, to say the least. I'll be glad to get a new lot next week (failing the even better adult privates)

That's about it for today!

Hi Amanda and Tom,
Dad and I are here in Lake Louise, Alberta for an international conference on chylomicrons. We came via Oslo, so have had an enormous amount of traveling. We went on the Singapore Airlines new superjumbo A380 which was very spacious and smooth (also good food!). The scenery here is spectacular and conditions perfect for a few days of spring skiing.
Glad to hear that you finally have some snow at last. I really enjoyed your poem "ich bin ein skilehrer". Will have to keep it to look back on in the future!
Are you happy with your boots and skis, or have you had to replace any equipment apart from the ski goggles?
Good luck with the last day of your kids group. They sound like an absolute nightmare, and could probably do with a good spanking!
Lots of love from Canada,
Mom XOXOXO
